DNA Motoring Coilovers
We designed our DNA Motoring coilovers to give you full control over your vehicle’s stance and handling dynamics. This complete kit replaces factory struts and springs with a bolt-on adjustable suspension system, allowing you to dial in ride height and damping to match your driving style—whether you’re lowering for aggressive aesthetics or tuning for track performance.
Each coilover features precision-threaded shock bodies, adjustable spring perches, and matched spring rates that balance street comfort with responsive cornering. Manufactured from hardened steel and zinc-plated for corrosion resistance, our coilovers are built to withstand daily driving, track sessions, and harsh weather conditions.
Adjustability & Performance Specs

Construction & Materials
Our DNA Motoring coilovers are built around twin-tube shock absorbers with precision-machined piston rods and high-tensile steel shock bodies. Each unit undergoes a zinc electroplating process to prevent oxidation and extend service life in wet or salty environments.
The adjustable spring perches are CNC-machined from billet aluminum and feature left-hand/right-hand threads for independent height adjustment. Dual silicone bump stops protect the shock during full compression, while sealed ball joints in the top mounts eliminate squeaks and maintain alignment accuracy over time.

Fitment & Compatibility
We engineer DNA Motoring coilovers as direct replacements for OEM strut and spring assemblies. Each kit is vehicle-specific, ensuring proper fitment with factory mounting points, brake lines, and ABS sensors.
Compatibility spans popular sport compact platforms including Honda Civic (2001–2021), Acura Integra, Subaru WRX/STI, Mazda Miata, and Ford Focus ST. Verify your exact year, make, and model before ordering, as subframe designs and strut bolt patterns can vary between generations.
Height Adjustment & Ride Quality
Lowering your vehicle’s center of gravity reduces body roll and sharpens turn-in response. Our spring perches adjust independently on threaded shock bodies, allowing 1.5 to 3.5 inches of drop depending on your starting ride height and chassis platform.
When you set the perches, always maintain at least two full threads of engagement and lock them with the provided jam nuts. Uneven height side-to-side can cause alignment drift and premature tire wear.

Coilover Installation & Compatibility Questions
Our coilovers offer an adjustable lowering range of 1.5 to 3.5 inches, depending on your vehicle’s stock ride height and chassis platform. You adjust the spring perches on the threaded shock bodies to set your desired ride height, then lock them in place with the included jam nuts.
We recommend starting with a moderate drop and testing handling and alignment before going lower. Extreme drops can reduce suspension travel and increase the risk of bottoming out over bumps.
We engineer DNA Motoring coilovers as direct bolt-on replacements for specific year/make/model applications. Compatibility includes popular platforms like Honda Civic (2001–2021), Acura Integra, Subaru WRX/STI, Mazda Miata, and Ford Focus ST, among others.
Always verify your exact vehicle details before ordering, as strut mounting points and suspension geometry can change between model years. Contact us with your VIN or chassis code if you’re unsure about fitment.
Yes, we strongly recommend a professional four-wheel alignment after installing DNA Motoring coilovers. Changing ride height alters camber, caster, and toe angles, which can lead to uneven tire wear and unpredictable handling if left uncorrected.
Set your final ride height before the alignment appointment, and allow the suspension to settle for a day or two of driving. This ensures the alignment shop measures your actual driving height, not just the initial install height.
Each DNA Motoring coilover features a 32-way adjustable damping valve accessed via the adjuster knob at the top of the shock. Use the included C-spanner wrench to turn the knob clockwise for stiffer damping or counterclockwise for softer rebound and compression.
Start at the mid-point setting (16 clicks out from full stiff) and adjust in increments of four clicks, then test-drive to feel the difference. Keep a log of your settings so you can return to a preferred baseline.
Absolutely. Our coilovers are designed to handle both street and track use. The adjustable damping lets you stiffen compression and rebound for reduced body roll during aggressive cornering, while the lowered center of gravity improves chassis balance.
For dedicated track builds, consider pairing the coilovers with adjustable camber plates and a front strut tower brace to maximize suspension performance. Inspect seals and bushings regularly if you track your car frequently.
Inspect your coilovers every 10,000 miles or after track events. Wipe down the exposed piston rods to remove dirt and road salt, which can score the chrome finish and damage seals over time. Check the spring perch lock nuts and re-torque them if they’ve loosened due to vibration.
If you notice oil seeping from the shock seals or hear clunking noises over bumps, the shock may need rebuilding or replacement. Our coilovers carry a one-year warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.
Yes, all DNA Motoring coilovers include a one-year manufacturer warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, accidents, racing, or failure to maintain the product according to our guidelines.
Keep your proof of purchase and installation records in case you need to file a warranty claim. Contact our customer service team with any questions about warranty coverage or service procedures.
