DNA Motoring Front Bumper Fog Light
We engineered our front bumper fog lights to deliver superior illumination in low-visibility conditions while complementing your vehicle’s factory styling. Each assembly features high-output halogen or LED bulbs housed in durable polycarbonate lenses with UV-resistant coatings that withstand years of road exposure.
Designed for direct OEM replacement, our fog lights install using factory mounting points and wiring harnesses—no cutting or splicing required. Whether you’re navigating fog-heavy commutes or adding functional style to your build, these fog lights provide the beam pattern and output you need for safer night driving.
Performance & fitment specs

Materials & Weather Resistance
We manufacture every DNA Motoring front bumper fog light using impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses that survive stone chips and temperature extremes without hazing. The ABS thermoplastic housing features integrated O-ring seals that create a moisture barrier around the bulb chamber, preventing condensation buildup during rain or snow.
Our UV-protective lens coating prevents the yellowing and opacity common in cheaper aftermarket fog lights, maintaining clear beam projection for years. The housing mounts securely to factory bumper cutouts using stainless steel hardware that resists corrosion in salt-belt climates. Each assembly passes IP67 dust and water ingress testing before leaving our facility, ensuring reliable performance in any weather condition you encounter on the road.

Installation Process & Compatibility
Direct OEM Fitment
Our fog lights use vehicle-specific mounting brackets that align perfectly with factory bumper mounting points and fog light bezels. Most installations require only a 10mm socket and Phillips screwdriver—no drilling or bumper modification needed.
Electrical Connections
Each kit includes a plug-and-play wiring harness that connects directly to your vehicle’s existing fog light circuit. For vehicles without factory fog lights, we provide a universal relay harness with waterproof connectors and a dash-mounted switch. Installation typically takes 30–45 minutes using basic hand tools, and our included instructions feature vehicle-specific wiring diagrams to simplify the process for first-time installers.
Bulb Options & Beam Performance
We offer both halogen and LED bulb configurations to match your visibility needs and budget. Our 55W halogen bulbs deliver a wide, low-mounted beam pattern optimized for fog, rain, and snow—illuminating the road surface directly ahead without reflecting glare back at you.
LED-equipped models produce 6000K daylight-white output at 20W per bulb, drawing less current while generating more usable light than halogen equivalents. The focused beam cutoff prevents scatter that blinds oncoming drivers, keeping you compliant with photometric regulations. Both bulb types install via twist-lock sockets with O-ring seals, and replacement bulbs are available through standard automotive parts channels for easy future maintenance.

Fog Light Installation & Compatibility Questions
Our DNA Motoring front bumper fog lights are engineered for direct OEM replacement on vehicle-specific applications. Each listing specifies exact year, make, and model compatibility. The assemblies use factory mounting points and electrical connectors, so installation requires no cutting, drilling, or bumper modification.
If your vehicle didn’t come with factory fog lights, our universal kits include mounting brackets and wiring harnesses that adapt to most bumper designs with basic hand tools.
Yes—we offer both halogen and LED bulb configurations for most fog light assemblies. Halogen models ship with 55W H8 or H11 bulbs that provide warm-white output and wide beam spread. LED models feature integrated 20W diodes producing 6000K daylight-white light with higher efficiency and longer lifespan.
Both options are DOT and SAE compliant for street-legal use. You can also purchase our fog lights with halogen bulbs and upgrade to LED bulbs separately if you prefer to test both technologies.
Our fog light assemblies feature integrated O-ring seals around the lens perimeter and bulb socket that prevent moisture ingress when properly installed. During installation, ensure the O-rings are seated flush in their grooves and all connector seals are fully engaged.
Avoid overtightening mounting bolts, which can warp the housing and compromise the seal. If you live in a high-humidity climate, apply a thin bead of dielectric grease to the bulb socket O-ring before inserting the bulb—this creates an additional moisture barrier without affecting electrical conductivity.
Our universal fog light wiring harness includes a 12V 40-amp relay module, weatherproof inline fuse holder with 20-amp blade fuse, and 14-gauge wire terminated in factory-style connectors. You also receive a dash-mountable rocker switch with built-in LED indicator and detailed wiring instructions.
The harness connects directly to your vehicle’s battery and fuse box, with a switched power source that activates fog lights only when the ignition is on. All connectors feature rubber seals to prevent corrosion, and the relay protects your switch from high-current load.
Halogen fog light bulbs average 500–800 hours of continuous use, which translates to 2–4 years of typical driving depending on usage frequency. LED bulbs last significantly longer—typically 30,000–50,000 hours or 10+ years under normal conditions.
Bulb lifespan depends on heat management and voltage stability. Our fog light housings feature integrated heat sinks that dissipate thermal buildup, and the wiring harness includes voltage regulation to prevent current spikes. Replacement bulbs are available separately if you need to service your fog lights before the housing requires replacement.
Yes—all DNA Motoring front bumper fog lights meet Department of Transportation (DOT) photometric standards and Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) beam pattern requirements for auxiliary fog lamps. The housings are permanently marked with SAE F certification, and the beam cutoff complies with federal regulations to prevent glare toward oncoming traffic.
You can legally operate these fog lights on public roads in all 50 states. However, local regulations may restrict fog light use to specific weather conditions—check your state’s vehicle code for usage rules during clear-weather driving.
We back every DNA Motoring fog light housing with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. This covers the polycarbonate lens, ABS housing, mounting brackets, and internal reflectors for as long as you own the vehicle.
Bulbs are covered by a separate one-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover damage from improper installation, accidents, or modifications. To file a claim, contact our customer service team with your order number and photos of the defect—we’ll provide a prepaid return label and ship a replacement assembly at no charge.
